Michael S. Rogers

MD

Dr. Michael Rogers brings nearly 50 years of experience in medicine, with a career dedicated to family medicine, medical education, and caring for patients and families throughout their lives. His professional journey has taken him across the United States and internationally, including time in Beijing, China, where he taught family medicine for nearly two years, as well as medical work in Brazil.

Dr. Rogers completed his Family Medicine residency at Hahnemann Medical College Hospital in Philadelphia in 1982. He later joined the faculty at Temple University Medical School, where he served as Associate Director of Family Medicine and helped educate and mentor future physicians. He went on to serve as Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Southern New Jersey for five years before opening his private practice.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rogers has remained deeply involved in the South Jersey community. In addition to providing primary care, he has served as Medical Director for drug and alcohol treatment centers in Camden, New Jersey, and West Palm Beach, Florida. He also served as physician for the Woodbury Public School System for more than 20 years.

With decades of experience spanning clinical medicine, physician education, leadership, and community health, Dr. Rogers brings a broad perspective to patient care. His longstanding commitment to family medicine reflects his belief in building lasting relationships with patients and providing compassionate, comprehensive care through every stage of life.

Marcus Magnet

MD

Dr. Marcus Magnet is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been caring for patients in the South Jersey community for more than two decades. Born in Haiti and raised in New York, Dr. Magnet brings a diverse background and a strong commitment to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School, formerly Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then completed his residency in Family Medicine at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury.

Throughout his career, Dr. Magnet has remained actively involved in both patient care and physician leadership. He was elected by his peers to serve as Chief of the Department of Family Medicine at Inspira Hospital, a leadership role he held for more than 10 years. His dedication to medicine has also been recognized with several honors, including being named South Jersey Physician of the Year in 2004 and New Jersey Family Medicine Doctor of the Year in 2013. He currently serves on the New Jersey Medical Board for the local Aledade ACO.

Dr. Magnet is also actively involved in community outreach and education. He has given lectures at local churches and assisted living facilities on a variety of important health topics, including preventive care, prostate and colon cancer screening, lung health, and cardiovascular disease. He is passionate about helping members of the community better understand their health, recognize risk factors, and appreciate the importance of prevention and early detection.

Dr. Magnet’s clinical interests include orthopedics, pediatrics, and adult medicine, allowing him to care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life. He values building long-term relationships with his patients and believes that understanding each person as an individual is an important part of providing excellent primary care.

Fluent in French and Creole, Dr. Magnet is proud to serve patients from a wide variety of backgrounds. He has been practicing medicine since 2003 and continues to bring his experience, knowledge, and dedication to the patients and families of South Jersey Family Medicine.

Dr. Tahseen R. Malik

Dr. Tahseen R. Malik is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who brings decades of experience, compassion, and a genuinely caring approach to every patient she sees. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom and has built a career centered around caring for individuals and families through every stage of life.

Over the years, Dr. Malik has worked in a variety of medical settings, including academic medicine, primary care, and subacute rehabilitation. She previously served as a faculty member with the Family Practice Residency Program at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, where she helped teach and mentor physicians in training, and later served as an attending preceptor at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury.

Dr. Malik first became part of the South Jersey Family Medicine family in 2010 and has developed lasting relationships with many of our patients over the years. After spending time working in subacute rehabilitation, she returned to South Jersey Family Medicine in 2022 and continues to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care to our community.

Born in Pakistan, educated in the United Kingdom, and now long established in the United States, Dr. Malik brings a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the diverse families she serves. As a wife and mother of four daughters, she understands how important it is for patients to feel heard, comfortable, and cared for.
Known for her calm and approachable manner, Dr. Malik values getting to know her patients as people, not just as medical conditions. She believes that strong relationships, open communication, and trust are an important part of good healthcare, and she is proud to continue caring for generations of families at South Jersey Family Medicine.

Anthony Orlando

PA-C, MPH

Anthony Orlando, PA-C, MPH, is a Family Medicine Physician Assistant who is proud to care for patients and families in the Woodbury community. With more than 20 years of experience in primary care, he believes that the best care starts with listening, building trust, and understanding what matters most to each patient.

Mr. Orlando earned his Physician Assistant degree and Master of Public Health from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. His training in both clinical medicine and public health shapes his approach to care, with an emphasis on prevention, wellness, and practical steps patients can take to support their health.

Throughout his career, he has cared for patients with a wide range of acute concerns, chronic medical conditions, and preventive-care needs. He strives to make each visit comfortable and productive by taking time to answer questions, explain health information clearly, and work together with patients on care plans that feel realistic and manageable.

Mr. Orlando values the relationships that develop over time in family medicine and is committed to providing thoughtful, respectful, patient-centered support at every stage of life.

In addition to his work in clinical practice, Mr. Orlando serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he helps educate future healthcare professionals. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Outside of the office, Mr. Orlando enjoys traveling, cooking, and keeping active with his wife and two teenagers at home.

Nicole Walsh

APN

Nicole Walsh, APN, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been a valued member of the South Jersey Family Medicine team since 2010.

Nicole earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Bucknell University before continuing her education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She began her nursing career in critical care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she spent five years caring for patients with complex medical needs while completing her Master of Science in Nursing.

Throughout her years at South Jersey Family Medicine, Nicole has developed lasting relationships with patients and families across all stages of life. She believes strongly in compassionate, personalized care and enjoys working closely with her patients to help them feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their health.

In addition to her clinical role, Nicole leads the practice’s Population Health Team, helping coordinate patient care and quality initiatives designed to meet important health metrics and improve overall outcomes for all of our patients.

Nicole is a longtime resident of West Deptford, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her strong connection to the community she serves makes caring for local families especially meaningful to her.

Christina M. Johnson

PA-C

Christina M. Johnson, PA-C, brings more than four decades of healthcare experience to South Jersey Family Medicine, with a career spanning nursing, internal medicine, perioperative care, anesthesiology, pain management, and clinical research.

Christina began her career as a registered nurse after graduating from Cooper Medical Center School of Nursing. She later earned her Bachelor of Science and completed the Physician Assistant program at Drexel University, formerly MCP Hahnemann University.

Throughout her career, Christina has cared for patients in a wide variety of settings, including primary care, hospital medicine, perioperative medicine, long-term care, anesthesiology, and pain management. She has also played an active role in clinical research, serving on institutional review and research boards and helping develop programs focused on improving patient care.

Christina previously practiced with South Jersey Family Medicine and was delighted to return to the practice in 2026. She values building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes in providing thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized care. With her extensive clinical background and warm, patient-centered approach, Christina is proud to once again be part of the South Jersey Family Medicine team.
